Carl William Danielson Jr., 79, of Mantua died November 15, 2005 peacefully at home.

Beloved husband of 60 years of Doris M. (nee Otto). Father of Sandra E. Carmen & her husband, Joseph and Lisa M. Nole & her husband, Michael. Grandfather of Joseph Carmen, Jr.; Jake & Michael Nole. Brother of Gustave “Bud” - deceased (Dolores); Paul - deceased (Geraldine); Charles “Sonny” (Flossie) and Henry (Barbara). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

Carl was born in Merchantville to Carl and Pauline Danielson. He was raised in the Cramer Hill section of Camden. He joined the Navy and served World War II. He was a self-employed building contractor. Carl loved building and creating for the families he served. He enjoyed the shore, particularly time spent on Long Beach Island. He loved spending time with his family, particularly his children and grandchildren. They will remember him as a strong & guiding force in the family.

A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30-12 Noon in the McGUINNESS WASHINGTON TWP. FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp.. Rev. Glenn Conaway will officiate funeral services at 12 Noon Saturday in the funeral home. Interment and military honors will be held at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Hospice PO Box 250 Runnemede, NJ 08078. Tributes & memories may be shared at: www.mcgfuneral.com.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Lisa Danielson Nole, Carl William Danielson Jr's daughter. Knowing what a fine women she is lets me know that Mr Danielson was a loving and caring man. My prayers are with Lisa and her family at this most difficult time.
