Carmen Kaye Wilson

August 10, 1941 - March 9, 2023 Sacramento, CA - Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our mother, Carmen Kaye Wilson. Mom passed peacefully in her sleep with family at her side early in the morning of 3/9/23 after succumbing to pneumonia. Born in Shawnee, OK to Owen and Ruth Tinnin, mom was the youngest of six children. She moved to Stockton, CA as an infant, where she lived a good part of her life. She moved to Sacramento in 1974, where she spent the rest of her life. Mom worked as a bookkeeper for many years, ending her career as the owner of her own business. She was able to pick and chose who she wanted to work with, and developed special friendships and lifelong relationships with many of her clients. Mom is preceded in death by her oldest daughter Sheryl Ann Riley. She is survived by daughter Diane (husband Charles), son Gregory (wife Candice), grandchildren Chadwick, Zachary, Lyle, Foster, Makayla and Matthew, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will particularly miss her many friends from the Pancake Circus. Per her request, there will be no service. If you have a pet, Mom would have wanted you to buy them a special treat and give them some extra love in her memory. My family would like to thank everyone that made her life so special. We would also like to thank the staff at the Eskaton Manzanita Care Facility for helping to care for her in her final months.
