Carole Fitzpatrick Obituary

Published by North County Times on Mar. 23, 2008.
Carole Ann Fitzpatrick, 72 FALLBROOK -- Carole Ann Fitzpatrick, 72, passed away Monday, March 17, She was born Aug. 15, 1935, to Grace and Joseph Bolte, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Ariz. in 1953. She was married to Thomas P. Fitzpatrick on June 15, 1957. Carole was an incredible woman whose greatest accomplishment was a loving and happy family. Together, she and Tom raised four children to be as giving and kind as she always was. She returned to school after their children were grown, achieving an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting. This she used to give back to her community by working for the Disabled Student Services Dept. at Palomar College. Carole will always be best known for her bright and ready smile and her ability to bring light and laughter into every room with her. Carole is survived by her husband, Tom; her children, David, Cathy, Lynn, and Tom and five grandchildren. We all grieve her passing and miss her terribly. See you in heaven, Mom. We lost her on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, to a long and hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's disease, with help from Elizabeth Hospice in Fallbrook. Please consider a donation to either of these causes in her memory. A viewing will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Memorial Home, with a vigil following until 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fallbrook, and she will then be interred at Riverside National Cemetery.
