Catherine A. Lively passed peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2020, at Chester-Crozer Hospital in Philadelphia at the age of 62.
Born in Washington, DC, daughter of Catherine C. (Cummings) and the late Thomas J. Falcone, Catherine moved to Levittown at a young age with her 6 brothers and sisters. There she would meet her 2 life-long best friends Terri(Gross) Walton & Debbie (Richardson) Missanelli. The three would be inseparable for the next 50yrs. Catherine's fondest memories and greatest stories came from the cross-country adventures the three would take together, exploring as far as Florida, Nevada, California, & Mexico.
A 1975 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, her true passion was in freelance journalism. Catherine, in years following, continued her education in writing and proudly excelled in all of her classes.
Catherine's family always came first.
Beloved wife of the late Michael H. Lively. Catherine is the loving mother of Catherine E. Falcone(Doug) and Jason C. Lively(Sara). Predeceased by her sister, and Irish Twin, Peggy Light, whom she missed immensely. Catherine will forever be missed by her sister, Patty Burchess(Tony). And her brothers Tom Tacconelli(Kathleen), Richard Tacconelli, Scott Light, Joe Falcone(Anne), John Falcone(Christine). Many nieces, nephews, and one great-niece, Emily.
She was an employee with StarGroup/Meenan Oil in Newtown, PA for the last 7yrs, where the friends that were made quickly became like family.
Catherine's selfless, loving ways always put others ahead of herself. Giving advice, lending a listening ear, sending words of encouragement, making goofy faces to turn a frown upside down, or spending her last dollar to make sure someone else did not go without. This was just her way. She was a true free-spirit, adored children, loved nature, and was unapologetically herself. Always.
Strong-willed and always fought for the underdog. Catherine was fiesty, one-of-a-kind, and loved by more people than can be counted. Her infectious laugh could be heard for, what seems like, miles. She loved to laugh and would go to, sometimes, embarrassing lengths if needed to make others laugh as well.
Family and friends are invited to attend Catherine's Graveside Service, on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 11:00 am, in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
Attendees are asked to please arrive at the cemetery at least 15 minutes early and line up their vehicles in front of the Family Service Center.
Memorial contributions in Catherine's name may be made to The Foundation for Grieving Children, Inc/F4GC.

Cathy you are the most sincerely real person Ive ever known. kind, strong, and never reserved in your loving generosity or ability to speak your truth. i didnt get the chance to say goodbye with everyone else, but we had a moment the other night as I sang "winter wonderland" with you driving home from work in the blizzard. though I may be the least socially altruistic of our cousins, I learned a lot from you Cathy, lessons that will stay with me forever, just as you will in my heart until we meet again. (save me a seat at the table next to you.)
