CATHY HOWARD Obituary
Age 64, of Wexford, passed from this life peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Her death followed a courageous battle with breast cancer. Beloved wife of 42 years of Robert C. Howard; loving mother of Morgan and Amanda; daughter of Phil E. Wilt and his wife, Rosa, of Altoona; sister of Rick and Mark. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Wilt. Cathy was an accounting graduate of Penn State where she met Robert. Together they moved 13 times, including three years in Paris, France. Cathy enjoyed reading, cooking, supporting her daughters in athletics, and ski trips with family and friends. She was employed by the Western Montessori School and was a member of Ingomar United Methodist Church. Friends and neighbors are invited to visit with family at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7720 Perry Hwy., Pgh., PA 15237 Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Ingomar United Methodist Church, 1501 W. Ingomar Rd., Pgh., PA 15237. Contributions may be made to the W. PA Montessori School, 2379 Wyland Rd., Allison Park, PA 15101.
