Charles Arndt Obituary
Born August 5, 1932 in Catawba County to the late Lattimore Giles Arndt and the late Jurie Mull Arndt.
Charles retired as a truck driver with Carolina Mills after 30 plus years, was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Claremont and a US Navy Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, brother, Giles Arndt, sisters, Ara McRee, Jean Williams and Mary Lee Murray
Left to cherish his memory:
Wife of 41 years: Janie Hollar Arndt of the home
Daughters: Debra Arndt Dailey and husband Bruce of Camden, AL
Melanie Miller Herman and husband Jerry of Claremont
Son: Woodie Sigmon of Claremont
Sister: Hilda Viola Pyatt of Salisbury
Grandchildren: Stacie Lynne Edhegard, David Wayne Dailey, Kristy Marie Dailey
Great-Grandchildren: Anna Claire Edhegard and Grace Ellen Edhegard
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Claremont. Rev. Dr. Gary S. Haddock will officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church 3216 West Main Street, Claremont, NC 28610
