Sending thoughts and prayers to Chuck's family and friends. I met him about 9 years ago when I was a substitue at Vernon Center Middle School. During a study hall, Chuck helped me brainstorm names for my dance studio that I had dreamed of opening. He came up with Dance Nation. The studio opened that summer and we have been in Vernon ever since. His memory will live on through our studio for I always tell of the story of how the name came to be. Such a great kid whose personality lit up a room ~ he will be missed.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Charles while playing in a band with his mom Judi. He was around during our practices, and had helped us set up and break down at shows as well. He was a good kid and will be missed - my heart goes out to Judi, Vance, Jim, and the rest of his family.

Rest in Peace Charles......

I am so very sorry for your loss. He was a good friend to my son Eric whom he met at St. Bernards school in Rockville and continued their friendship at Cheney Tech.
Chuck did some wiring for us in our house. When those lights are turned on, it will be Chucks light shining down and I will never forget him because of this. I pray for him. God bless Chuck

I would like to recognize Charles in my favorite memory of an amazing brother. This is the brother of my best friend, and Charles had a way of always being there for Vance. Never would he allow any pain to come into Vance's world, and it grieves me to think he felt so much pain in his. Charles is at peace now, and in our minds he will forever be the amazing brother we all wish we had.
~ Rest in peace Charles, we will all miss you every day. My prayers are for you and your family.
