Funeral services for Christopher “Chief” Wayne Lambert, 56, of Coppell will be held Monday, May 1st at 2:00 PM at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound. Mr. Lambert died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Medical City Plano after a long battle with cancer. He was a businessman and loving father. He was born July 18, 1960, in Sherman where he was raised by his late parents, Billy Lambert and Mary Lou Riggs. He later attended Texas A&M University - Commerce, where he received his bachelor’s and developed a deep fellowship with his brothers in the Sigma Chi fraternity. Mr. Lambert went on to work in various sales and marketing positions at Business Objects, Clarify, DataMirror, and IBM before his diagnosis of cancer. He was a fantastic father and wonderful partner to Diane Neff, his companion and caregiver throughout the later years of his life. His family and friends will forever miss his humor, generosity and support. He could always bring a smile to those who knew him, and this brightness carried him through the most difficult parts of illness. His strength through the most trying of circumstances can’t be understated or forgotten. He will always be missed. Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Lambert, his mother, Mary Lou Riggs, and his late wife, Penelope Jane Lambert. He is survived by his loving partner, Diane Neff, and his two sons, Duke and Evan Lambert. Memorials may be made in Mr. Lambert's name to the American Cancer Society. J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors in Grapevine handled the arrangements.

Duke and Evan, I always remember your dad with a smile on his face and a humorous twinkle in his eyes. You are both in our prayers.
