Clyde Brewer, or to most he was referred to as “Bootie”, was a beloved father, brother, and grandfather, who passed away on January 21st, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born in Murfreesboro Tennessee on June 17th, 1952 to the late Jessie and Rosie Brewer. Throughout his life, he was a farmer, carpenter and jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing and being with his grandbabies. Most remember him as always knowing what is going on in the neighborhood, which he loved to walk, or sitting on the porch smoking his 24/7s. He enjoyed being with his family, especially his son Jesse and his granddaughters, and couldn’t live without his honeybuns and moon pies. Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, daughters Angela Brewer and Pamela Felts, granddaughter Destiny Felts, brothers and sisters Bobby Brewer, Leslie Brewer, Burley Brewer, Jessie Brewer, Mack Brewer, Rachel Brewer, Randy Brewer, Albert Brewer, John Brewer, and Riley Brewer. Clyde will be missed by his surviving family, son Jesse James Brewer, daughter Shannon Earps, grandchildren, Rosa (Chrestien) Ivey, Pamela Brewer, Jessica Brewer, Jerry Dewayne Hulsey, Rachel Hulsey, and great-grandchildren Maevry Ivey and Colt Wayne Ivey and sisters and brothers; Charles Brewer, Gary Brewer, Bradford (Gail) Brewer, Darlene (Ricky) Hutchison, Betty (James) Hale, and Martha (Donnie) Walker.
