Connie Plemons Norman, age 74, of Ringgold, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
A homegoing service to celebrate Connie’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in the Trenton Chapel with JT Sanders, David Marona and Craig Westbrook officiating. Following the service, Connie will be laid to rest at Stacy Family Cemetery in Flat Rock, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
Connie was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on November 19, 1950, to the late Chester and Leona Plemons and has been a longtime resident of North Georgia for many years. Connie was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart, a dedicated mother, nana and the best friend a person could have and was always willing to help anyone. Connie was an avid Alabama fan and a member of Calvary Way Baptist Church in Chickamauga. Connie’s legacy of love and devotion to her family will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her in-law’s Louis and Ruby Norman and two great-grandsons, Stevie Wayne McNabb and Cody Bearden.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Steve Norman; children, Melissa Dawn Morton, Janice (Oscar) Roach, Heath (Tracey) Morton and Jeremy (Jenni) Norman; brother, Lebron (Andrea) Plemons; grandchildren, Sean (Kayla) Self, Blake (Michaela) Morton, Mikaila (Cordell) McNabb, Amanda (Tucker) Green, Jessica (Cody) Bearden and Jasmine Turley; great-grandchildren, Kota, Riley, Artie, Hadley, Walker, Mattie, Paisley, Saylor, Lainey, Ellie, Levi, Zane and Chase; special friends and extended family.
The family would like to thank the staff of Tapestry Hospice for their compassion and care delivered to Connie during her final days.
