Curtis R. Davis, 80, of Washington Township, Fayette City, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at home with his family by his side. He was born Oct. 18, 1930, in Washington Township, son of the late John B. Davis and the Late Ethel M. Harper Davis. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Fayette City, and retired from the P & LE Railroad. Curtis was an avid golfer and bowler and loved to travel the world. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Cales Davis, and two sons, Danny Davis and wife, Nancy, of Fallston, Md., and Ronald C. Davis and wife, Ruth, of Suwanee, Ga.; a daughter, Candice Kuchinic, and husband, Mark, of Lexington, S.C.; a brother, Ernest Davis, of Renfrew; seven grandchildren, Natalie Caudle, Alicia Rabil, Kevin Davis, Jenna Meinl, Brian Davis, Nicole Weber and Ryan Davis, and three great-grandchildren, Berkley Caudle, Braxton Caudle and Adelyn Rabil. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Sarah Davis and Gladys DeMoss. Friends will be received Wednesday, Dec. 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, (724) 326-5621, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com, and Thursday, Dec. 23, until 11 a.m., the hour of services with the Rev. Wayne Boring officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albert Gallatin Home Care and Hospice, 20 Highland Park Drive, Suite 203, Uniontown, PA 15401
