Cynthia Deaver-Perrone

Cynthia Deaver-Perrone of Lake Mary, Florida passed away on July 20, 2022 after a year-long battle with cancer. Cindy was born in Aurora, Illinois as the second of the six children of Alfons Walter Walan and Audrey Mae (Benjamin) Walan, both of whom are deceased. Cindy attended Madonna High School (now Aurora Central Catholic High School) in Aurora and then earned a B.A. in English Literature at Rosary College (now Dominican University) in River Forest, Illinois.

In the late 1960's, Cindy married Dr. Philip F. Deaver (now deceased) of Tuscola, Illinois. After completing their advanced educations they were blessed with three children - Michael, Daniel and Laura Deaver. The family moved to Central Florida in 1984 where Cindy worked , as a Senior Assessor for Wilson Learning, an international management consulting firm; and as a Director for Executive Group, Inc. a career planning & development firm.

Cindy is survived by her Husband, Preston I. Perrone of Lake Mary, Florida; her children Michael J. Deaver, Daniel M. Deaver and Laura K. Deaver-Waterfield, as well as her step-sons Carl M. Perrone and Scott R. Perrone; and eight young grandchildren, all located in Central Florida. Cindy's surviving siblings are Valerie (Walan) Higgins, Constance (Walan) Bell, Marcia (Walan) Davis and Gregory Walan. Her brother Jeffrey Walan pre-deceased her.

There will be a Memorial Service / Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on August 13th at the Knowles Memorial Chapel on the campus of Rollins College - 1000 Holt Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32789.
