THE GIRLS FROM WESTERN JANITOR

WE GOT TO KNOW DAN MANY YEARS AGO WHEN HE WOULD COME INTO OUR STORE LOOKING FOR THAT SPECIAL ITEM THAT WOULD HELP HIM WITH HIS MOTORCYCLE PROJECTS. AS TIME WENT ON OUR STORE BECAME A VISITING SPOT WHEN YOUR TWO ADORABLE DOGS USED TO TAKE DAN FOR "HIS" WALK ABOUT TOWN. WE WOULD ALWAYS HAVE A TREAT FOR THE DOGS AND DAN WOULD ALWAYS HAVE A STORY TO TELL US ABOUT THE MOTORCYCLES HE USED TO HAVE AND ABOUT THE ONES HE HAS REBUILT. HIS VISITS WILL SURELY BE MISSED. OUR THOUGHTS GO OUT TO YOU CHERYL AND YOUR FAMILY.

Dear Cheryl, Leah and James:
We Kleiman/Shepards join you in the sadness of losing Dan, but also in the joy and pleasure of knowing him. He was a gentle giant and his nieces and nephew loved him with their whole hearts. And Len is broken hearted over the loss of his brother, whom he loved so much. I join them and all of you in celebrating the memory of a big guy who had a heart as big as all outdoors.
Lots of love,
Susan

Dan will be remembered for how he touched the lives of those of us that knew him. He was kind-hearted, soft-spoken and a compassionate man. He devoted himself to his family and always made time for friends. We will miss his boyish smile and caring ways.

Thank you all. He is terribly missed and was the best father a girl could ask for. Leah

Leah,
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a very nice man.

Each of us touch many lives as we journey through life. Many for what seems like a short time. To me he was the "Quite Man" I called friend. We shared time on the ocean, for which I will remember. We will miss him.
