David C. Bylon

YORK David C. Bylon, 78, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Bricker) By lon. David was born on September 30, 1928, in Forrest Hill, Md., a son of the late Joseph and Lillie M. (Toliver) Bylon. He was a cook at the 13th Ward Political Club retiring after 13 years of service. David was a WWII Air Force veteran. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of York, life member of the Girard A.A., Liberty Social Club, and the 13th Ward Club. He was a member of the Pleasureville American Legion, Hawks Gunning Club, and the Rooster Club. He was active in Boy Scouts for 40 years. He is survived by a son, David A. Bylon of York; two daughters, Eileen Markle of Dallastown and Diane Shue of Dover; four grandchildren, Tricia Talarico, Amy Markle, Rebecca Shue, and Curtis Shue; a greatgranddaughter, Lillie; and a grand dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Lee Bylon. A viewing will be fro 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York.
