Deborah Anne Harvey

Deborah Anne Harvey passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 63 in Phoenix, Arizona. Debbie was born on February 14, 1960, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Cedar Grove , New Jersey and spent summers in Sag Harbor , N.Y. with her family. Debbie was an incredibly witty individual with a dry sense of humor, a veracious reader and enjoyed challenging puzzles.

Debbie passed away at home after a short battle with lung cancer and emphysema. She is survived by her loving partner, Jeff Lee, her brother David Harvey and his wife Dawn, their two sons, Dana and wife Lidia, Drew and fiancé Jennifer, Sister-in-law Sherri, and her children Jackie and husband Jared, Alex (A.J.) and Michael. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. David Alexander Harvey, her mother Katherine Farace Harvey, and her brother Alex Harvey.

Debbie attended Kimberly Academy and went on to study Art History at Allegany College in Pennsylvania. She worked several years for KelJed Construction as a Construction Manager in Rutherford New Jersey. Debbie continued her education, receiving degrees in Archeology and Anthropology at the University of Arizona. After graduating, she settled in Pheonix Arizona where she lived out her life as a Pastry Chef with her life partner Jeff Lee and beloved pets.

A graveside service to remember Deborah Anne Harvey will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Sag Harbor, New York, on Sunday, September 10, at 1:00 pm. There will also be words spoken for her brother Alexander Johnson Harvey III who passed at the age of 60 on May, 25, 2021. His ashes will also be interred at the Harvey Family plot.

Debbie and Alex will both be deeply missed by all who knew and loved them. May they rest in peace.
