Derna DeCapite Obituary
Derna was born February 28, 1913, in the village of Rivisondoli, Italy, to parents Domenico and Condina (Romito) Ramicone. She lived most of her adult life in Ravenna, Ohio, before moving to Warner Robbins to be near her son.
She was preceded in death by her husband Salvatore De Capite and her daughter Emma Trilli.
Survivors include her daughter, Giovanina Volpe, son Domenico De Capite, son Joseph De Capite, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Reverend William Kraynak will officiate the funeral service on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 1:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated on a later date at Immaculate Conception Church.

Dear Joe and family
my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. What a strong woman she was! I fondly remember seeing her walk to Mass at IC now as I pass by her house on West Spruce, not too far from my old homestead. We would sometimes chat on her front porch. She was a lovely, kind God-fearing woman. May you find comfort in knowing that she will find rest in Him in heaven. God bless.
