DON HALL was so dedicated to the betterment of TRACK AND FIELD. He was a competitor, coach and always there. to lend a hand at all meets and clinics. He was a true friend to all who knew him. He was soo knowledgable about track and field and shared his knowledge with others. He will be missed...what a wonderful smile at all meets.

so sorry to hear of Coach's passing. I was one of his physical therapists at Life Care of Orange Park. He was a hard worker, and a delightful patient. I know he lived a full life. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Norine Blanton, P.T.

Coach Hall knew your name and he knew it forever. His generosity to the athletes was deep and sincere. Knowledge of track, my gosh, you could ask him about local athletes both college and high school and he could talk about coaching them in middle school. Great guy, and I really looked forward to coaching with him again.

Coach Hall made such a difference in my life during my time at OPHS, He was my favorite coach, he was more than a coach, he was a great mentor, someone I could share my insecurities, and life as a teenage girl.
He gave me confidence in myself.
Years later I would look forward to seeing him at UF track events. I could spot him quickly by the long jump pit with his signature hat and cute walk.

Coach Hall has been one of the best neighbors we could ever have. He always made sure to seek me out when it was time to buy Girl Scout cookies. I will miss waving to him everyday. RIP Coach Hall. Coach Hall was one of the most gracious men I ever met. He was always in a positive mood and countless young men and women in Clay County were fortunate to have had Coach Hall help them over the years. My family is truly blessed to have known Coach Hall for almost 30 years. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
