Donna Fay Boyles, 64, of King, passed away at 6:03 p.m. on Nov. 21, 2022, after a two-year battle with lung cancer. She was born Aug. 10, 1958, in King. She was the daughter of the late Jay (JC) Boyles and Doris Smith Boyles both of King. She is survived by her son, Timmy Boyles and wife, Tanya, of Clemmons; two grandchildren, Kaylin and Jase Boyles; sister and caretaker, Sandy Boyles Parker and husband, Joe, of Lewisville; two brothers, Jimmy Boyles of Pilot Mountain and Michael (Smokey) Boyles of King; two nieces, Stacey Wilson (Justin) and Ashton Boyles; one nephew, Jordan Parker (Dina); along with two great-nieces, Aria and Payton Wilson and one newborn great-nephew, Noah Parker. Donna is a lifelong resident of King. She loved to spend time with her family, friends and fur babies. She was so proud of her son Timmy and her two grandchildren, Kaylin and Jase. She loved to play board games and take them shopping. Donna and her sister Sandy were especially close, spending most of their time together shopping, watching movies and cooking. Sandy has been Donna's caregiver, never leaving her side, during this long battle of cancer. Per her wishes, there will be no formal services. The family will have open house visitation to celebrate Donna's life with family and friends on Dec. 3, at the home of Timmy Boyles, 7630 Rolling Oak Ct. Clemmons, floating from 1-4 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation (AARF of Winston-Salem), Friends of the Stokes Shelter or The Stokes County Animal Shelter.
