Doris Zumberger Obituary
SIDNEY — Doris Jean Zumberger, age 78, of Sidney, Ohio, passed away on March 8, 2018, at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 24, 1939, in Sidney, Ohio, to John and Anna (Berning ) Zumberger, who preceded her in death.
Doris was preceded in death by siblings Mary, Joe (Emma) Zumberger, Rose (Gene) Stockstill, Irene Beatty, Leo Zumberger, Leonard Zumberger, John Zumberger; sisters-in-law Marlene Zumberger, and Wilma Zumberger.
She is survived by brothers Albert Zumberger of Versailles, Urban Zumberger of Versailles; and sisters-in-law Eulalia Zumberger of Anna, Terentia Zumberger of Maplewood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doris retired from Copeland Corporation after several years and was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She loved to spend her free time coloring, playing bingo, and was a member of a bowling league. She loved her dogs and spent much of her time with her family and friends. She loved to travel with her family to various locations.
Friends and family may call Sunday, March 11, 2018, from 1-4 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 12, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, Ohio, with Father Frank G. Amberger officiating. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Fort Loramie, Ohio.
Donations may be made to Miami County Hospice in Doris's memory.
