Earl Shallers Obituary
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, retired from the Colgate Company after 34 years of service and was a member of the First Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, D.V. and Mary Shallers; and three brothers, Alvin, Carl and Lloyd Shallers.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. (Adkins) Shallers; two sons, David L. Shallers (Dorcas) of Georgetown, IN, Samuel E. Shallers (Susan) of Sellersburg, IN; four grandchildren, Daniel Shallers (Marnie), Douglas Shallers (Cherie) Elizabeth Wagner (Gregor), Lexie Estes (John); nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday October 12, 2009 at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes (1846 E. Oak Street) with burial in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 18 p.m. Sunday and 1011 a.m. Monday before the service.
