EDITH V.
Age 66, Edith transitioned into eternity with Jesus on August 8, 2017. Formerly of Edgewood, PA , Edith was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Crane. Beloved sister of Anne Elise (Tim) Morris and Bill (Jean) Crane; cherished aunt of Paul, Pamela, Lauren, and Rachel; great-aunt of Lisa, Chloe, Liam, Talia, Kainen, Kiara, Ariana, Hayden, Eli, and Grace. She was a sister-in-Christ to many. With degrees in Social Work, Nursing and Bible, Edith worked for over twenty years at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She also spent several decades as a missionary, mostly in Thailand. Edith's legacy is worldwide as she personally provided funds for others to have education, immunizations, food, medical services, and Bibles in all corners of God's earth. No visitation. I met her when i was in bangkok. she was working hard to reach people and encourage them to the path of Jesus Christ. She was very kind to newcomers of Christianity,always involved herself in our international bible study group, visiting prisons and community outreach programs. Edith as a person can't be describe in one word. Her perseverance and determination to dedicate her life to God was incredible and will be greatly miss.GOD holds your sorrowing heart in His loving Hands.

I met Edith when I was in Bangkok. She would visit with me and when she returned to Baltimore would visit with my parents. She was such a wonderful, kindhearted person. May she rest in peace.

Remembering Edith from our High School days, she was a gentle, kind person who cared deeply about her family and others who needed caring. Her life's work continued this selfless pursuit. My sincere condolences to both the family and all those who she touched with her spirit and love.
