Edith Hazelton Obituary
WINDHAM, N.H. — Edith G. Hazelton, 83, of Windham, N.H., died on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H.
Mrs. Hazelton was born in Somerville on Sept. 16, 1924, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Berry) Potter. Mrs. Hazelton was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1942. She was formerly employed with the John Hancock Life Insurance Company and Brake and Electric Sales in Medford. Mrs. Hazelton was a former member of Windham Woman's Club and a member of First Baptist Church in Medford.
Mother of Robert Hazelton Jr. of Estero, Fla., Stephen Hazelton of Medford, William Hazelton of Windham; Ruthanne Gminski of Windham; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Knudsen of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Hazelton Sr. in 2005
ARRANGEMENTS: Following cremation, calling hours will held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb, 18, 2008 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, N.H. A memorial services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
