Dear Edna, I want to thank you for being so kind to me. I always felt welcome in your home and remember your smiling face. I remember Don telling me that his little sister was starting at Harding H.S. Well it was mission on to find her. As I remember it took a couple of days. We became fast friends! All those times of hanging out together are great memories. As friends often do, we went our separate ways, lost contact over a great many years. We recently reconnected...how lucky I am. I know that the way I have treated my children's friends was due to your example. You are truly a great lady. Love, Julie

Edna sat on the other side of the wall from me in my early years with GTE. I'll always remember what a character she could be in her own special way. My condolences to Edna's family.
