Edward "Big Ed" William Bogan, age 92 of Pataskala, Ohio passed from life on Earth to be with our Lord on March 12, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center. Edward was born January 14, 1931 to the late Edward W. and Grace Irene (Gordon) Bogan in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and soon after established E. W. Bogan Company, where he earned a reputation across the Country for his knowledge and craftsmanship in historic building restoration, actively working until he was 85 years old. Famous for his cooking, some of his specialties being spaghetti and meatballs and any seafood, especially shrimp and crabs. When he wasn't working Ed enjoyed the game of golf, socializing at local venues, playing the game of pool and was known for his amazing singing voice, which he often used to serenade the ladies.

Edward is survived by sons Edward Bogan and Sean Bogan, daughters Deborah Williams and Sheila Tanzillo; grandchildren Edward Bogan, Elisa Bok, Arielle Dixon, Roderick Williams II, Benjamin Williams, Daniel Williams, Alaina Williams, Michael Williams, Ricky Spurgeon, Anthony (AJ) Spurgeon, Jacob Spurgeon, Brett Tanzillo, Bradley Tanzillo, Krysten Frasure, Skylar Bogan and Reese Bogan; 22 great grandchildren; brother Robert Bogan; sisters Pat Andrews, Grace Greenlee and Runae Green; in-laws and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 62 years, Priscilla Bogan; daughter Patrice Bogan; brothers Raymond Bogan, John Bogan and Ronald Bogan and sister Mary Propes.

Visitation for Edward "Big Ed" Bogan will be on THURSDAY, March 23, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Pfeifer Funeral Home in Reynoldsburg. Additional visitation at the funeral home will be on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 12:00 pm until the time of Big Ed's funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial with full military honors will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Online condolences may be made at www.pfeiferfuneral.com
