Oh Ed... where do I start? You were such a loving husband and father. You, Ruthie, Dave, and I (Sherry) did many fun things together. Like The Local Pub, and other bars, mainly to see your brother John and the band play. Camping and you getting the nickname "Stargazer" Val Du Lakes for concerts (Joe Walsh) this is where we met your friend Jack Willacker, and camping, fishing and much more. You worked your butt off for 43 years before retiring in June of 2021 from Howmet. To finding out 6 months later you had stage 4 cancer. Ed's words to the doctor were... of course I do! My insurance is done, and I now have medicaid. Life just isn't fair, and it definitely wasn't fair to you. You didn't even feel well enough to enjoy any of your retirement. The closest we could get you to a Casino was collecting Scratch offs from family and friends, for you to keep yourself busy. Well there's a bunch left. So we hope there's a BIG winner for sis. Rest easy Ed (BRO)ther in law. Sherry & Dave Jarka - family forever❤

I knew Ed from Howmet. I believe I worked in a department with him years ago. Throughout the years we would talk in passing, but he always said hi to me. I always considered Ed one of the good guys. I am so sorry for your loss. Many thoughts and prayers sent to his family.
