Edward Clay Rosenbaum DAMASCUS Va. Edward Clay Rosenbaum, age 67, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tenn. He was a life long resident of Damascus, and was the son of the late Joe and Frances Rosenbaum. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was coordinator of the neighborhood watch program in his community. Mr. Rosenbaum was a retired carpenter, a farmer and an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Rosenbaum; one son, Eric Rosenbaum and his wife, Danielle, of St. Peters, Mo.; two grandsons, Jacob Rosenbaum and Lucus Rosenbaum. At the request of Mr. Rosenbaum, a graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus with Pastor Billy Rines officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Damascus Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 458, Damascus, VA 24236; or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
