I will always remember Eric's persistence and ability to get things done. He was a strong advocate and a funny, charming person. His physical presence will be missed but his spirit will be felt for a long time to come.

Even through Eric lost his physical eyesight to diabetes, he always shared his incredible insight and clear intellectual awareness with everyone, whether in a raucous meeting or a quiet one-to-one conversation. His short life was a gift to all of us. Kay Willshire

Eric could be sitting there with no expression or smile on his face and all of a sudden give out this hearty laugh that would fill the room.

I have no doubt he is running around in the spirit world with his first guide dog Joey and making sure that everything is accessible.

In the disability community, Eric frequently went beyond the "norm." He challenged us to think outside the box and to consider new ideas. The arts touch our hearts and souls. Eric was committed to making the arts accessible to all.
