Esther CHEUNG Obituary
The beloved wife of Louis, Esther Pik-Chu Cheung, was called to be with the Lord on June 9, 2017 at the age of 74 years. She passed away from heart failure at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, BC. Born on Cheung Chau Island, Hong Kong, Esther met her husband Louis 60 years ago. Married for 52 years, as husband and wife they overcame many challenges together, raising four children. Esther's Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, at 11 a.m., at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. There will also be a viewing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 19. She is survived by her husband Louis, sister Ruth Fung (Sik Ling), children Edna Lau (Eric), Jean Fan (David), Ace (Cecilia), and David (Quin) and grandchildren Mikayla, Madison, Elise, Tobias, Iyla, Levi, and Marcus.
