Eva C. Wally

MECKLENBURG - Eva C. Wally, 84, of Davidson, died March 30, 2009, at Cabarrus Hospice House after a long battle with cancer. She was born on Jan. 23, 1925, in Cornelius, the only child of Fred and Annie Crews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Huebert Wally. She is survived by her sons, Fred Wally and wife, Cindy, of Davidson and William Joel Wally and wife, Sally, of Kannapolis; daughter, Janet Orr and husband, David, of Allen, Okla.; and grandchildren, Eva Michell, James and Samuel Wally. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009, at Davidson United Methodist Church, where she was a member for 57 years. The Rev. Jody Seymour and the Rev. Robert Combs will officiate. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Raymer Funeral Home.
