Dorothy Hannon Gardner
Evelyn was my first cousin. Her father, my uncle, was the older brother of my father William A. Hannon. I would appreciate, along with my sister, Marcia Hannon Hill, if the Trustee of her affairs would contact me as the recipient of Hannon family papers. There are no other Hannon relatives beyond the two of us. Evelyn always told me that she and Johnny were the keepers of family papers. On the occasion of the birth of my first born, she drove to Chicago to present me with her father's and my father's baby high chair. I still have the chair and it has been used by my grandchildren. My cell phone is 312-305-1008

Ms. Evelyn was a nice lady and a good neighbor; visited her occasionally at the assisted living facility where she lived the last years of her life. Her mind was sharp until the end. May her memory be eternal.

Such a sweet pleasure to know her. Always a kind warm smile when I would visit her. Many blessings to all whom cared and loved her. Lisa Wethington

I remember Evelyn's ready smile. An accomplished life. Thank the Lord for her long life.

Bless you Evelyn. Even though I only knew you in your later years you were sharp as a tack, always calling each month to remind me to pay my mortgage. :) You were full of spunk and determination and it was a pleasure to know you.
Rest in God's eternal peace.

Evelyn (a.k.a. Evie) was my thoughtful, loving cousin, and I will certainly miss her. We shared many weekly telephone calls between Indiana and my home in Colorado over the years. I also have numerous, fond memories of times shared with her and her family while I was a child growing up in Indianapolis. In much later years, many occasions with Evie and her brother, Johnny, were enjoyed by me and my now-deceased father, Jack Worner (their uncle.) In my thoughts and prayers, I join in the celebration of Evie's life, believing that she is with the Lord, and that we will meet again. Lovingly, "Colorado Sue"
