Fay L. Wong

Fay Lynne Wong passed away at age 95 years 10 months after a very brief illness on April 27, 2018. Born in Sacramento on June 21, 1922, Fay was the eldest of 5 siblings. Predeceased by her parents, Gon Lip Wong and Suey Chan Wong; her brother, Larry; and sisters, Kay and Mamie. She is survived by her brother, Frank; his wife Lucy; her sister-in-law, Minnie Chung On Tam Wong; many cousins, nieces and nephews and their families. Also missed by her caregivers. She graduated from Lincoln Junior and Sacramento High schools. Worked in her parents' restaurants, at State DMV and Education Dept, retired from Justice Dept (1951-1980). A licensed beautician for 13 years. Her Celebration of Life funeral service will be Saturday, May 19 at 11 AM, at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4300 Folsom Boulevard, Sacramento, 95819. Interment follows.
