Florence Parent Obituary
She was born on March 25, 1913, in Presque Isle, Maine, the daughter of the late Joseph Raymond and late Phoebe Bishop.
Florence worked as a stitcher in the local shoe mills. She loved to dance until the 80s and playing cards. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion of Rollinsford and a member of the Church Guild at St. Marys in Rollinsford.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Lorraine and her husband, Cecil, of Ledyard, Conn.; her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husbands, Armand Bois and Joseph Parent, and her sister, Edna Rizzo.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.
Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, with a scripture service directly following at 11 a.m. at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, N.H. with Deacon Robert Gagnon, officiating.
A spring burial will be held at St. Michaels Cemetery in Rollinsford.
