FREDERIC SCHROEDER Obituary
FREDERIC STEVENS died aged 65 on March 8, 2010 in Lantana, Florida. He lived in Lantana and in Wawa, Pennsylvania. He was a vice president of Wawa, Inc for several years. He graduated from the executive program at Harvard Business School, received a Bachelor of Arts from Penn Morton College, now Widener University, and graduated from the Westminster School, Simsbury, Connecticut. He was predeceased by his son Frederic Stevens Schroeder, Jr, He is survived by his son, Nathaniel Thayer Schroeder, and his grandsons, Nathaniel Thayer Schroeder, Jr., and William Tristan Schroeder, his sister Florence Schroeder Ervin and his brother Gilliat G. Schroeder.

I have know Fritz all my life. He was my second cousin and a great guy who we had a lot of fun with at Wood family gatherings at Red Roof and Blossom Hill. When I first was introduced to him he was about 5 or 6. Aunt Peg told me his name was Foofie and Gil's name was Gee Gee. Much later in life I met him when he was working for Wawa at about age 45 or so. I checked myself just in time as I almost called him Foofie in front of his working colleagues. That was a close call.
I had some some good fun times with Fritz and some great family tennis games with him. He certainly will be missed by many.
