FREEDA S WILCOX

Freeda S. Perron Wilcox passed away on October 8th, 2010 at the age of 85. She was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho on March 9, 1925 to Odessa & Nellie Perron. She was happily married to Paul S. Wilcox for nearly sixty years. Together they raised three sons and three daughters. She enjoyed the Bend quilting group, reading, the Rosary Club, the Bouse desert and Pinochle on Sundays. She was known for her quick wit, sharp recall and her cooking and gardening.
Freeda is preceded in death by her husband, Paul and her son, Neil Paul Wilcox. Freeda is survived by her children Teri Lynch, April and Tom Terrell, Mark Wilcox, Sandy Wilcox, Vera and Mike Armuth, Joe and Nena Wilcox as well as her 11 grandchildren, Stacie, John Paul, Ana, Leah, TJ, Shannon, Kristina, Mitch, Justin, Kris and JJ, as well as 10 great grandchildren. She was a smart, feisty woman with a tremendous memory and will be missed by all whose life she touched.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, October 15th, at Alsip Funeral Chapel in Nampa, 404 10th Ave South. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
