Gayle Shaw Obituary
Mrs. Shaw passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 in Jacksonville, Texas.
She was born Aug. 20, 1934 in Simpson.
Gayle was a member of the Woodlands Heights Baptist Church. She was owner/operator of Shaw Realty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lavon Shaw; parents, Wilburn and Bernice Johnson; and sons-in-law, Butch Jackson and Tommie Yarbrough.
Survivors include her son, Chuck Shaw and wife Sherry; daughters, Sherrie Yarbrough, Karen Jackson and Shannon Hunt and husband Wayne; sister, Lynn Dell Pynes and husband Ray; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will begin on Friday, Jan. 23 with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Texas.
A special thanks to the staff of Jacksonville Healthcare for the excellent care given to Mrs. Shaw and our sincere gratitude to Wendy, Natalie and Morgan of Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care.
Rather than customary condolences, donations in memory of Mrs. Shaw may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation, 1402 Rice Rd., Suite 100, Tyler, TX 75703.
