George Bonda Obituary
He was the husband of 62 years to Ann Marie (McCarthy) Bonda; father of Daniel N. Bonda and his wife Vilija of Kingston, and Stephen G. Bonda and his wife Andrea R. of Attleboro; and brother of the late Helen M. Bonda, Alec F. Bonda, Nicolai J. Bonda, and Agaphia Mary (Owcharuk) Bonda. George also leaves behind four grandchildren.
A graduate of Charlestown High School in 1937, he attended Texas A&M and the University of Maryland while in the service. A veteran of World War II serving in the Navy, he entered in July 1943 and was discharged in March 1946 as an Aviation Electronics Technician First Class.
George worked for the city of Boston as an electrical inspector for 33 years before retiring in 1981 to Cape Cod.
A former resident of Charlestown, Medford, Mattapan and Norwood, he had lived in Centerville for the past 29 years. Mr. and Mrs. Bonda recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.
Burial services will be private at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Centerville. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.

Rest in Peace Dad. I am so happy you are now in heaven with your mom, dad, sister and brother.
You will always be in my heart. I will miss you and think of you often. Dad, thank you for always being there for me and my family. You were the nicest man I ever met in my life.
