George R. Bricker 12/25/1961 – 1/16/2025

George, Randy to many, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Evansville, IN.

George was born on December 25, 1961 to George R. Bricker and Jane Milligan in Carbondale.

George served his country proudly aboard several submarines with the USS Navy as a nuclear technician and military police among other posts. He later served in the Army Reserves. After graduating from SUNY Buffalo, he earned his Master’s Degree at SIU Carbondale. It was at SIU Carbondale where he then launched his incredible career as a teacher, professor and respected lecturer. He later joined John A. He touched so many lives, and often spent countless hours with students to ensure their education and help build their confidence. He will be sorely missed by both students and colleagues.

George went home to be with his mother Jane Millian, brother James Davie, Father George R. Bricker, Step-mother, Elana, grandparents Edra Tweedy Bricker and Albert Meyer, George H. Bricker, Herman and Neva Strobel.

He will be deeply missed by his sister Jennifer Davie Devlen of Cortland, NY, brother Jordi B.
