George HERBRICH Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from May 11 to May 13, 2021.
George passed away in the RJH due to complications from COVID and COPD. He leaves behind his son George (Karen), granddaughters Brianne (Russ) and Kayla (Will), great grandkids Mackenzie and Fraser, his niece Simone in Germany and his many lady friends from the Esquimalt Recreation Centre bus trips and coffee meetings, both of which he thoroughly enjoyed.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to honour his memory, George Sr. would have loved a donation made to BC & Alberta Guide Dogs.
There will be no service at his request.

Shelley the bus driver

I'll never forget the first bus trip George came on. As it was mostly women on the trips I always hoped the men would feel comfortable when they joined in. No worries about George. He fit in so well and was loved by everyone. When he got on the bus there was always a chorus of "George". Such a kind, positive, generous man. One Christmas lunch he bought bubbly for all to enjoy a wee toast together. George lived life to the fullest and always with a smile. I am so grateful to have met him.

Oh George, what a beautiful photo of you and you were such a wonderful gentleman. Great laughs and sense of humour. Kept us ladies laughing and giggling. Thank you dear sweet man.
I was one of the senior bus tour ladies and was so sorry to hear of his passing. Blessings to the family and especially his granddaughters who he spoke of and always found a special little treat in the gift shops for. I'm sure they will miss their grandpa.
Hoping all the family find lovely memories to gently cradle your hearts.
