George Lee Obituary
Born in Ashover and a local resident for most of his life, apart from when working on railway. George was a fireman on the LMS Railway during the war and for some time afterwards. He worked then as a furnaceman for some time, during the 1960's he worked at T.I. in Chesterfield, then Parkray, Belper ,during the 1970's. His final job was for Frank Guy Ltd in the 1970's and 1980's.
His interests included motoring, walking, football, railways and other transport.
George was predeceased by his wife Rotha (nee Sawyer) and leaves daughter Janice Staniforth and two grandchildren.
The funeral service takes place on Thursday 18th January 2018, Brimington Crematorium, at 1.50pm.
