June 6, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta
Jed Houlihan of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the age of 64 years. Jed is survived by his son Shane Houlihan; daughter Casey Houlihan; mother Winifred Houlihan; loving partner Dianne Sowerby; and his beloved aunt Margaret Payne. Jed loved watching his sports teams, Minnesota Vikings, New York Rangers, Chelsea FC and Preston North End. He enjoyed listening to his extensive taste in music. Jed worked at Christopher Robin School as a Custodian and Bus Driver before joining Nufarm Agricultural Plant as a Custodian and Line Foreman. A Gathering will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Jed's honour may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200 – 325 Manning Rd. My condolences to all of the family. Jed was a great person liked by all. Truly honest & you new where you stood with Jed. He loved watching his Vikings, Rangers plus the soccer( futbol). I Wil miss Jed rest in peace
