GLORIA VALLEY Obituary
After a long courageous battle with lung cancer, Gloria passed away on December 23, 2015 at the age of 64. Beloved wife and best friend of 46 years to Walter. Loving mom to Lee-Anne (Steve Smith). Predeceased by her parents Amedeo and Anna Carosella, her brother Danny, sisters Mary, Lucy and Anna. Dear sister of Theresa (Les) Simon, Veronica (Mike) Green, Frank and Sam Carosella. She will also be missed by her many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers, and her cats Blackjack and Fluffy. Gloria was retired from MCSS-ODSP after 34 years. Special thank you to Dr. Fortuna, surgeon Dr. Coughlin, all the doctors and nurses at Windsor Regional Cancer Clinic, Hospice of Windsor (Transition to Betterness), Saint Elizabeth and CCAC nurses and support staff. Your support and kindness was appreciated and will always be remembered. Memorial Donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated. Visiting at

To the Family,
I never new Gloria very well , she was my worker for ODSP and she was very fair she mever made you feel like some do.She made me feel like a friend even the first time I met her. There should be m0re like her. R.I.P.& GOD BLESS.

I worked with Gloria 25 years ago at the Ministry. I was fresh out of university and she was always so helpful, kind and funny. We spoke a few times over the years and it was always great to hear her friendly voice. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. Rest in peace Gloria.
