I will always remember Gwynn as the "flower lady." Every spring when my children and I were taking our daily walks we would go by Gwynn and Bill"s house and I would admire all her flowers. That was over 20 years ago. Years have past and Carrie and Steve got married and I told Gwynn that I used to go by her house when Steve was a baby. She laughed because she said to me "Marie, we are family now." Your Steve and my Carrie." She was right. Gwynn, you will always be in my heart and as every spring comes I will always remember"the flower lady." I will miss you.

Nannie,
I must have been the luckiest person in the world. Normally you get two sets of grandparents, But thanks to god I got to have an additional set you and Huggie Bill, you treated me as if I were one of your own grandchildren. You really are a very special person to be able to take a child who was not one of your grandchildren and love and care for as much as you love someone from within your family. You helped me to except so many things I am not sure would have ever been able to except without your influence within my childhood. Since you always treated me as well as you treated your own grandchildren I can only try to express how grateful I am to god for putting such a Strong, Loving, Independent, just all around Amazing women such as yourself in my life. I am also grateful my child also had the privilege of knowing you as well as I. You will always be "Nannie" in my heart, and that is where I will always keep you. I Love You and miss you much. Much Love Always and Forever.

I didn't know Gwyn well, only met her recently through Lindsay, but I saw how much she was loved and admired by all her family and her many friends and believe she must have been a very special person to those with whom she came in contact. Clearly, Bill loved her hugely and I'd like to record my sympathy to him and all other members of their family group, both in America and England.

Now that I have had time to clear my head, I know exactly what I want to say to you. Probably things I should have said along time ago. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for being my friend not just my grandmother. Thank you for always listening and understanding. You are such a brave, strong woman and I hope that when I am older I will be half the woman you are. I miss you so much and every day seems to get worse as it is longer since I have seen you. I miss you, I miss your voice, everything about you, sometimes it seems unbearable. I am glad for all the times we had together and for being lucky enough to have you with my my whole life. I would not trade anything in the world for the love you gave me and the sweet memories. You will live on in all of us, as you made such an inpact on everyone you touched. I look forward to seeing you again and hearing your voice. Not a day will go by I will not think of you. You are so brave
My deepest love always.

She is going to be missed forever. The memories I have of her go back to the earlier days of my life. They will live on in my life like she was right there talking and creating more memories with all of us.

To my very special Mom, I may not have spent all of my life with you, but we certainly made up for it, you gave me a wonderful new family who accepted me with no questions, and I love you so much, and miss you every day. Thank you for my life and the love we shared. You will remain in my heart for ever.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear Nannie,
I'm sorry for not getting to say a proper goodbye like you deserve, but I have been thinking about you everyday, and just wanted to say that I love you very much, and I know now that you are at peace. I wish that I could have talked to you one more time and told you the things that you should probably hear. I am the luckiest person in the world because you were my grandmother, and you will be missed every day.

Lots of Love,

Reyna
