Helmut Koch Obituary
July 23, 1934 - November 12, 2017
It is with heartache and tears that we announce the passing of Helmut Koch. Helmut passed away surrounded by family at the Peter Lougheed Centre at the age of 83. Helmut leaves behind his beloved wife Irma; children Lorna, Ron, Tina, and Darcy, grandchildren Carly, Amanda and Jonas, and his best friend Benji. Helmut worked hard all his life, enjoyed every moment outside that he could, and he loved his family. He was a caring and giving man who would do anything for anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Very, very sad to hear the news about Uncle Helmut. I remember his gorgeous smile and sense of humour and I can still see him sitting in Oma and Opa Koch's house talking and kidding and just being a really sweet human being and how much he was loved by everyone. Dad I still can't believe your gone I am so heart broken I can't explain how much I miss you . I go to the acerage and think you will be there , I want to call u when there's a hockey game on or when the stamps play , but then I remember your in heaven . So sorry for your loss, Aunt Irma, Lorna, Ron and Tina. I will always remember Uncle Helmut as a very hard-working man who loved his family. He left a legacy of adding to the landscape in Chestermere and building many of the beautiful homes there. Not to mention his beautiful grandchildren. Hugs and love to you all.
