Herman Glenn Vedder

VEDDER, HERMAN Herman Glenn Vedder, of Tucson, AZ died February 8, 2008, at the age of 88. He was a resident of Rancho Bernardo from 1971-1991. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO. "Bud" volunteered for the Navy during World War II serving as a radar operator aboard the USS Alchiba, an attack cargo ship in the South Pacific. Bud had a successful career in sales and marketing retiring from the position of Vice-President of Hamm's Brewing Co., St. Paul, Minnesota. Bringing his abilities and integrity to San Diego, he became a highly successful relocation specialist for Century 21 and Anne Winton & Assoc.'s of Rancho Bernardo. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pat; sons, Richard Vedder of Dallas, TX and Mark Vedder of Rapid City, SC; daughter Tricia Balancio of Tucson, AZ and three grandchildren. Inurnment will be held on Monday, March 10th, at 10a.m., Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma.
