Horace Parker Obituary
Horace W. Parker Jr., age 74 of Woodbury Heights, N.J., died Tuesday March 7, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.
Mr. Parker was born in Coatesville, Pa. and had been a resident of Woodbury Heights for 40 years. He was a graduate of Gloucester High School in 1949 and was retired from E. Leitz, Inc. where he worked for 33 years. He enjoyed traveling and sports.
Husband for 49 years of Nancy J. (nee Margos). Also he is survived by two daughters Deborah Carroll and her husband Charles of Mantua, Carole Raively and her husband Norman of Mantua, five grandchildren Chuck, Brad, Shawn, Brandon, Jena, and two step grandsons Mark and Kevin.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St. Mantua, NJ. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. Memories may be shared at Web site www.smithfhmantua.com.
Contributions in Horace’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or Christ Episcopal Church Building Fund, 620 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ 08096.
