Huey Franklin "Toby" Richards

Huey Franklin "Toby" Richards, 69, of Orange, died on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at his residence.

He was born on October 11, 1941, in Charlottesville, a son of the late Huey M. and Lillian Lam Richards.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judith Ann Walters Richards.

Mr. Richards is survived by two daughters, Pamela Dale Richards of Orange and Terry A. Karfgin of Locust Grove; a son, Guy Wayne Richards of Orange; two sisters, Barbara Gratsy of Orange and Patricia Winters of Culpeper; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Juliann Karfgin.

Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with interment at the Graham cemetery. Pastor Ben Kistler and Pastor Troy Thacker officiated.

The family received friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at the funeral home.

Preddy Funeral Home in Orange is in charge of arrangements.
