I am truly sorry to hear of Hugo's passing. I am one of the Phi Kaps who was deeply inflluenced by Hugo- by his passion for teaching us basketball, for mentoring young men, for the fraternity, and for life. I remember his marriage and the birth of his son, of whom he was so proud. After graduation, we lost track of each other, but learning of his passing brought back so many memories of time with him- at his home, in the car going to coach inner city kids, just talking basketball. Hugo had a significant impact on many of us for many years, and I am sorry for his passing. May the love of God shower you at this time with His comfort, and know that Hugo's many friends rejoice in their memories of times together.
