Hi Debbie,
My deepest condolence to you. You may have forgotten me, but I worked with Iain before and I was really sad when I heard the news. Iain was very special to me, he was a very good client. I remembered, he was very appreciative in all we do for him, very kind and understanding. The giggles we had whenever we danced in the living room, even after a tiring day at the day program,or whenever we watch a comedy movie. We will miss him.
Prayers,
Joy

Deb, my heart goes out to you, Sue and your entire family over the loss of your sweet Iain. I only met Iain a few times, but every time I did, he was smiling and friendly... As a mom, you must feel so proud of Iain and his positive impact on so many people.
Love and condolences,

"Let the sunshine play accross the melodies of memory, as it hears the tune of loss, and finds the notes of healing" Iain was a giant - a giant smile, giant hugs and giant laughter. There are no words to describe how much of giant hole his passing will leave in all our hearts.

Dear Deb and Family,
My memories of Iain are so wonderful that even at a time as sad as this I find myself smiling at thoughts of us energetically laughing at any moment and about anything.
Iain truly brought joy to so many people who today are reflecting, as am I, on how very blessed we were to have known him.

To the family of Iain,
I didn't know Iain but after reading your story I feel like I do...
I too have a son with special needs and understand the wonderful joy your son brought to your family. Yes, there were hard time with appointments, therapy and struggle but what it brings to your life is a better understanding of love. You will feel the loss of this young man for a long time, I wish you better times ahead as time goes on.
A butterfly flies beside us like a sunbeam.
For a moment its beauty belongs to our world.
Then it flies on, and though we wish it could
Have stayed, we feel so lucky to have seen it.

Deb...I worked with you all those many year ago at Canada Trust....and I remember it well when you were pregnant with Iain and your joy in bringing him into this world. You were also such a positive inspiration as you spoke of you baby son and the journey you were walking together. I was SO sadden to see of his passing yet could hear your beautiful voice describing the many lives Iain touched. I send you love and prayers.

Our prayers are with you and your family as you grieve Iain's passing. He is now a gift to heaven as much as he was to those on earth. God bless and comfort you and your family at this difficult time. With love,

So many were touched by Iain's big smile and bigger hugs. A man of few words but he said and taught so much. His purpose fulfilled, now in and with the light.

In lieu of attending the funeral, I have resolved to write something here, so I suppose I'm going to have to, but god! It's impossible to me that Iain won't again spill food all over our floor, drink all our Coke, or drain all our pens. It's impossible to me that I'll never get another hug from him. From his bony little ape arms.
I wish so much that I could be there with you all right now, not because I think I would be worth much in terms of emotional support, but because I think you would be. You are all so amazingly strong--you put the rest of us to shame. Despite this suddenly appearing black hole, I know that your family will only come out stronger, as you always do. Iain has always been able to bring that about, and it's good to know that that much, at least, has not changed.
I love you all.

We remember Iain fondly from Kacy's days at Chestermere Lake Middle and High School. She was very fond of Iain as you may recall. Our hearts are saddened by his passing and we offer our sincere condolences and prayers to your family.

In my mind's eye of your kitchen counter, Iain will always be there on the far seat, headphones on working intently with one of his books, accompanied by one of his buddies, and sipping a big cup of pop.
"Say 'Hi' to Harry, Iain" Fiona says, and Iain replies "Haaiii."
That word would do so much to ground my mind and uplift my spirits.
So much love to all of you.

Dear Deb, Isabel and Fiona:
What a wonderful tribute to your son and brother Iain. Although we have only had the pleasure of spending a short time with all of you, when you were together the love you shared with Iain was evident to all. May the love and support of family and friends help you during this difficult and sad time.
Sincerely Janice and Kayla Tiberio
