IAN JAMESON Obituary
Suddenly on Thursday, September 20, 2012, age 25, of Fox Chapel. Beloved son of Sarah and Duncan Jameson; brother of Colin; grandson of Patricia Pulling and the late William Pulling and Barbara and Martin Adler; nephew of Matt Pulling (Stephen Hsu), David Pulling (Nikki), Paul Jameson (Carol), John Jameson, Lorin Jameson (Lynn), Catherine Sheeran (Douglas), Leontine Jameson and Jenny Daniels; also 13 cousins across the country. Friends received at MCCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside, on Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment private.

Ian was my good friend in High School. Some of my fondest memories were being lab partners with Ian in molecular biology during which he would shoot down evolution or any topic just to prove his capacity for rhetoric: ("what good is a bat with partially developed wings? it would get ATE") This always drove Mr. W up a wall scatting. Ian decided air guitar wasn't enough and started an air band. I'm pretty sure that we routinely tour it up together-Ian on air drums- from 2003-2005. Ian's sense of humor is priceless. I am shocked, saddened, and deeply sorry for your loss. The world lost a down-to-earth, funny, intelligent, truly unique and all around terrific person far too early.

My son Daniel (Simon) just wrote me about Ian's passing. I am overwhelmed with sadness. I cannot imagine the depth or your loss and sorrow.
