Jack A. Pannell

Jack Albert Pannell, age 72, of Manassas, died on Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at Prince William Hospital. Born May 6, 1932, in Onego, W.Va., he was the son of the late Robert Jack Pannell and the late Joy Edith Adamson Pannell. He was a salesman at Jim McKay Chevrolet and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Brentsville Presbyterian Church in Manassas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Patricia Ann Pannell. Survivors include his loving wife Lucy Downs Pannell; devoted daughters, Cheri Lynn Pannell Nahas of Clifton, Christine Marie Pannell of Manassas, and Barbara Ann Harris Lubbers of Summerduck; one sister Mary Frances Williams of Manassas; and seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Basagic Funeral Home, Franklin, W.Va. Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 6, at North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, W.Va. with the Rev. Earl Bible officiating.
